The List: Double Indemnity and The Big Lebowski

After being a little disappointed with Clerks, Double Indemnity (1944) was definitely a breath of fresh air. I loved it, everything about it. If you haven’t seen it I highly recommend you take the time. I really enjoy watching movies form the 40s and 50s after seeing so many big budget films over the summer. Film noir at it’s finest.

Since Clerks, I have also seen The Big Lebowski (1998). I may be a huge hypocrite for finding the ridiculousness of Clerks obnoxious, but finding Lebowski mildly entertaining. Still maybe doesn’t live up to the hype surrounding it, but definitely funny and just a good time.

I am only three movies in, but this is already a lot of fun, I can’t wait to make another list after this one is complete!
